A pacemaker is a small, sophisticated medical device designed to help regulate the heartbeat in individuals whose hearts beat irregularly or too slowly. The human heart relies on electrical signals to maintain a steady rhythm, ensuring that oxygen-rich blood circulates efficiently throughout the body.
